Rhiannon: Curse of the Four Branches is an adventure game with a spooky theme. Here you play Chris who is in charge of the house while the family is away for a few days. Once there, she will try to discover the mystery of the haunted farmstead. Throughout most of the game you will be exploring different rooms and parts of the estate collecting objects to your inventory and using them whenever they are necessary. You will also have to solve hundreds of brain-teasing puzzles that are certainly challenging and will keep you thinking for a while.
The controls are awkward and uncomfortable. You control Chris by pressing on the arrows to give 360 degrees turns, and you can move forward only to available places, so you cannot move freely.
The graphics leave a lot to be desired since they look old and not detailed. The sound effects are also very poor and the music is only played in some scenes, so you basically play in silence most of the game.
Apart from the challenging puzzles that you will find scattered around, the rest of the game is pretty simple since you are told everything you must do.
All in all, Rhiannon: Curse of the Four Branches definitely isn't a game to recommend since there are plenty of better games like this out there. You should try it and see for yourself.
